24 year old Alexandra Martin from Connecticut has just completed a 4,300 mile cross country canoe trip, ending the epic trek in Portland, ME, last Friday.
The journey has take a total of 6 months, and relied purely on human powered journey. For the more dryer lengths of the journey which equalled around 800 miles, Martin would hook his canoe to his bicycle and cycle the distances.
Previously Martin has completed a 740 mile Northern Forest Canoe Trail in a record of 32 days, with his eyes set on even more record beating challenges to come.
